Musha pictures are also called Nishikie, and portray scenes from old stories or tales on Japanese paper, Washi.They have been used for float in the festival of the Yanemori hachimangu-shrine, in Aomori prefecture since the ancient times until today.In the festival they are usually very large size H1530mm×W1130mm.The picture drawn with characteristic Nebuta-colours, very acolourful and hype the festival by lightning up by lanterns from the behind.
